'Aurora Borealis - bright' was inspired by a picture taken in Iceland. Mesmerised by the amount of colours (in an aurora), I challenged myself to translate these colours into textiles.

A meditative process was experienced while creating this artwork and I hope it brings a sense of peace and calm to the viewer.

Knitted viscose yarn, with viscose fringing, hanging from a pine dowel.
Pine dowel: 120cm long, 2.1cm diameter.
The textile hanging: 106cm width, 125cm height.
