This artwork came about shortly after the UK started air strikes against ISIL in Syria, in December 2015.
Having recently become a mother, Alice Palmer was naturally thinking of how children are effected by war, and this artwork also shows her constant interest in how people interact with technology and social media.

This original knitted artwork is made from 100% silk.

It is stretched over a canvas made from 100% acid-free cotton, with a wooden frame.
